Way to drop the SOPA PIPA ball, Mr. Zuckerberg (Mark)

With the online SOPA protests going full-speed-ahead, Facebook decided against actively taking part in the SOPA protest.

Why?

Many sites blacked out, while others simply participated in the protests by educating people as to what the bill(s) are actually about. This is a noble act, no matter which the sites chose. Facebook did neither.

Instead, Zuckerberg posted something on his own website, and tweeted about SOPA. This was like firing a pellet gun when you need a shotgun. Facebook was the shotgun, and it wasn't used (for 1 day, or less than a day: 12 hours would have easily gotten the message through).

Facebook has already become a podium for pictures of kids that I don't want to see, and friends that I don't want to hear from - But Facebook could be one of the hardest hit from SOPA/PIPA, and if that happens, I'm not going to protest it's closing.
